Ferolite NAM-31 is a specialized gasket material renowned for its exceptional sealing properties, mechanical strength, and resistance to extreme temperatures and pressures. Specifically designed to address the rigorous demands of sealing applications, Ferolite NAM-31 offers a combination of performance and reliability. Composed of a blend of compressed aramid fibers, mineral fibers, and NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) binder, this material provides a balance of mechanical strength, flexibility, and chemical resistance necessary for effective sealing in demanding environments. Certain chemicals have been kept at a minimum level in the material to prevent any adverse effects on the media it comes into contact with. Additionally, NAM-31 contains a significant quantity of mineral fiber that is bio-soluble, ensuring it doesn’t present any health risks, making it suitable for use in food-grade or pharmaceutical applications. However, it’s important to note that this material lacks FDA-approved certification.
